The Joint Research Safety Initiative at UChicago works to promote worker-driven safety at labs across UChicago, performing peer walkthroughs and safety “competitions” to recognize outstanding efforts to keeping our lab workers safe. JRSI recently recognized our efforts with the Kimberly Mormann Award to celebrate our student initiative and ownership in cultivating safety culture!
