Research Interests:

Our research focuses on the chemistry, physics and material science of inorganic nanostructures. By combining expertise in the colloidal synthesis, self-assembly and characterization of nanomaterial properties, our group creates novel materials for electronic, photovoltaic, thermoelectric and catalytic applications. We also work to understand and employ self assembly of precisely engineered nanoscale building blocks for designing complex multifunctional materials.

2.  Understanding crystal growth mechanism in nanoparticle superlattices and the driving forces behind self assembly.

3.  Studying the temperature dependence Au nanoparticle films as a function of nanoparticle size.
